This paper presents “Blockchain E-Voting Done Right”, a robust, decentralized e-voting system that leverages the “public blockchain” for transparency, “Django framework” for scalable web development, and “OpenCV” for secure voter verification through image processing. By integrating “blockchain technology, our system guarantees end-to-end vote integrity, immutability, and public verifiability without compromising voter anonymity. The frontend offers an intuitive interface for voters and administrators, while the backend ensures encrypted vote storage and smart contract-driven validation. OpenCV is utilized for facial recognition and voter authentication, adding a biometric security layer. This hybrid architecture addresses key challenges in existing e-voting platforms, including scalability, double voting prevention, and identity fraud. Our implementation demonstrates the viability of a next-generation voting platform that combines” “privacy, transparency, and trustworthiness”, making it suitable for large-scale democratic elections in the digital age.
