Conventional certificate management systems are vulnerable to forgery, document loss, and limited accessibility, reducing their effectiveness in refugee support programs. To address these challenges, this study proposes a blockchain-based certificate generation and validation system designed specifically for refugee identity management. The proposed framework utilizes MetaMask for secure digital identity authentication and employs Solidity smart contracts developed through Remix IDE for certificate creation and verification. Ganache and Truffle are used for blockchain development, deployment, and testing, while a Django-based web interface provides a simple and user-friendly platform for certificate generation and validation. By leveraging blockchain technology, the system ensures data integrity, transparency, immutability, and enhanced security while minimizing human errors and simplifying administrative processes. The developed solution provides refugees with secure and verifiable digital certificates, facilitating easier access to critical services and supporting their social and economic integration into host communities. Furthermore, the proposed framework offers a scalable and efficient approach to digital certificate management, demonstrating the potential of blockchain technology in addressing identity and documentation challenges in humanitarian contexts.
