Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has instigated an unparalleled transformation within the global education system, rendering online teaching an essential mode of learning. This research paper examines the pedagogical changes occurring in the digital age and the shifting role of educators from mere knowledge transmitters to facilitators of learning experiences. It investigates new teaching strategies, digital assessment techniques, principles of instructional design, and the implementation of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework. Rooted in social constructivist theory, the study reinterprets the roles of teachers as mentors, guides, and motivators, thereby fostering equity, inclusivity, and engagement in online education.
